Glasgow Tales and Tabletop Gathering

Roll the dice on something different at the Glasgow Tales and Tabletop Gathering. A brand-new weekend of interactive storytelling, tabletop roleplaying games, creativity, and community connection.

Hosted at the accessible ACVC Hub, this two-day gathering is designed to welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced players into a friendly and supportive gaming space where imagination comes first.

This is a space built around welcoming people in sharing stories, trying something new, and connecting through collaborative play.

Throughout the weekend, volunteer storytellers and game masters will run a wide variety of one-shot tabletop RPG adventures, from fantasy and horror to mystery and cinematic storytelling experiences. The Day We Stayed: An Interactive Storytelling Session (June)

An interactive storytelling session at Kinning Park Complex
What happens when a community decides not to leave?
Thirty years ago, the people of Kinning Park did exactly that. Faced with the closure of their local space, they stayed. They organised. They held the doors open and in doing so, changed the future of the building and the community around it.

Together, we’ll imagine:
What the Complex was like 30 years ago
Who was there, and why it mattered
What it took to stand your ground
And what might have happened next
At its heart, this is a session about people, place, and the power of community.
Come along, take part, and help tell the story of The Day We Stayed.
Please note this session is open to over 18s only and is free.
